Engineering and Design
Lang-Mekra, NA houses the primary engineering, design, research and development operations for the Western Hemisphere. With state of the art design capabilities, Lang-Mekra is able to work with its customers to provide a complete vision system suited to their unique needs.

Testing Laboratory
As a Certified ISO 17025 Independent Testing service Lang Mekra’s Laboratory will specialize in vibration testing including modal analyses and data collection, and environmental testing including Salt Spray, Cass, Humidity, Immersion and Cyclic Corrosion tests. Our objective is to meet customer requirements quickly and efficiently.
Moreover, Lang Mekra has testing equipment to perform numerous environmental condition (hot/cold temperature & humidity) simulations, mechanical tests (bracket deflection, fold away force, actuator life cycle tests, glass rub/surface energy evaluation, spring tester, dust bombardment chamber) and corrosion evaluation (Salt Spray chamber, Salt Immersion Tester). Lang Mekra has also vibration-testing capabilities with a single-axis and a six-axis shaker system, allowing for various vibration simulations and analyses.
Lang Mekra is expanding their testing capabilities to perform cyclic corrosion tests in accordance with several industry standards such as ASTM, SAE, DIN/ISO as well as automotive standards (GM, FTL).
